Have you ever answered the phone when it has rang on the TV?

I have. More than once.

Things like this worry me.

Mazda has a new commercial that has a tone exactly like my doorbell. Freaked me out the first time I heard it.

My dog used to get ripped on the doorbell sounds on TV. He is now far better than me at knowing which one is really ours.

God help the postman, however. I don't know what it is about postmen, but Peppi would kill him if he could get at him. I have taken to keeping him inside when the postman is due to arrive.

If any phone rings, I don't answer it. It's never for me.

I'm partially deaf in one ear and a phone ringing on the TV fools me often. Next time you're at the doctors office, have him check your hearing.

I already know my hearing is screwed-up. I can't distinguish anything when there is background noise.

I think my good friend Bill Clinton has this same ailment.

LOL< my daughter will not have her cell phone back for a long-ass time! I got it for her for her birthday for MY conveninece. She knew the rules & agreed to a contract with me. She owes me over $1000 in airtime charges & long distnace. She has to work it off at $5/hr doing yard work or babysitting.

I used to stop at stop signs and wait for them to turn green.

Yeah, I was waxed.

That's not a good plan.

I recently got to spend 5 days in jail for something like that. (Expired stickers was my presenting offense. A .22 was what got me locked up.)

I also paid $451 in fines and somehow got thoroughly beat-up in the process. My memory of the few days surrounding that is not real clear. I had hallucinations.

That was about a month ago, and my ribs are only now healing.

And "they" aren't done with me.
