Thanks for the ping. Don't know much about Moto Guzzi bikes. Opinions?

they still make those? Well, Guzzis are still very much around, but I doubt they still make that particular model (I sometimes ride with the guy whose that is).

This is mine. Been riding 'em for ten years.
Imagine a Harley with a good suspension and brakes. ;-)

I have a friend with one of them.
It's rusted to pieces within a few years. Although this maybe the UK weather...
He's been back to the dealer with it loads of times.
He's rebuilding his V-Max now.

The Honda Silver Wing used to have a 'Guzzi vibe goin' back in the 80s:

Buddy of mine had one with a fully-loaded fairing. Niiiice little ride at 500 ccs.
Yet there is still nothing quite as raw and freeing as the sound of a Harley flying down the open road!!

For an o'far' like me, cruisin' and checkin' the scenery is about my speed. My ol' Softail jus' loves to mellow down the backroads. We even stop, shut down, and watch the deer grazin' at times. It's tough keep from spookin' 'em when you got pipes like mine.

No Guzzi National for me this year. It's way back east. Although I
will be on the east coast in about three weeks, it'll be in my truck helping my brother move to Texas.
(I'll be pullin' the trailer haulng his bike, though!)

After the service, the parade of Moto Guzzi motorcycles filled Route 2 through New Cumberland with 113 bikes participating.
Whoa . . .

Considering the fact that Guzzi only sells a couple hundred bikes here in the States each year, to see more than one at a time is rather significant.
Oh, and I can pretty much guarantee that if the Guzzi in that parade was less than 40 years old, it didn't come in on a trailer(obligatory jab at the Harley/RUB/wannabe crowd).
