Guests take a dip in beer pool

An Austrian holiday resort is offering guests the chance to swim in a pool containing 42,000 pints of beer.

The Starkenber Beer Myth resort located in and around the medieval castle of Starkenberger in Austria's Tyrol region has filled seven 13ft long pools with the beer.

The management claims that beer baths heal various skin diseases.

However, some guests are said to have enjoyed drinking their favourite brew while swimming in the pools.

Manager Markus Amann, 23, said: "I would rather swim than swallow, as we serve enough of a cold, fresh tapped beer on the bars next to the pools."

Yes, the alcohol leeching through the skin would be something to lookout for.

Sound like a drunken good time to me. Drink your beer while bathing in a pool of it. But, never drink the pool beer!!!

pissant, a beer thread and no ping to me, you are slipping my friend.

Well, there was the hot tub idea.
Fill it with 151 proof.
But if someone made the mistake of smoking near it, you'd end up with the world's biggest flaming jello shooter.

I have a hot tub with 56 jets, and I have never filled it with booze. I have sat in it for hours while consuming several alcoholic beverages.

The only problem is that the bathroom is so far from the deck. A lot of running in and out of the house. I have to work on building a bathroom on the deck near the hot tub and pool.

Hmm, yes.
That does get annoying at times.
Last hot tub I was in, the bathroom was just around the corner from the door.
Unfortunately, sometimes it was 'group travel' or 'bathroom battler' to get there.

I will try to think of some clean thoughts. Let me get into a total nonsexual mood. I have to think of Alan Colmes naked for a minute, that will scare all sexual thoughts from my head and I will get back to you.

"WHAT A REPULSIVE VISION!"

Yeah, but it serves its purpose. I needed to clear my mind of its usual dirty thoughts and that will do it.
