A bar when I was in college used to play it all the time. I didn't hang out there but my husband did. He said everyone would slamm their beer mugs on the bar/table. Good times.

The year I got married at bike week, we went to the Boot Hill Saloon, and it was raining like crazy. We were all out back under the pavilion. There must have been 500 people under there trying to stay semi dry. That song played and everyone was singing it. 500 drunken bikers singing David Allen Coe in the rain was awesome.
