One of the rock mags I used to read in the 70s had a geneology of all the San Francisco bands from the early 60s through the mid 70s. It was incredible.
I wish I had it today.
If you could remember which one it was I bet you could find it on Ebay.
Probably so.
But, that was a long time ago.
It wasn't Rolling Stone. It wasn't Circus. It wasn't Hit Parader. Dangit!
It wasn't Tiger Beat, was it? ;-)
I'm 100% sure it wasn't Tiger Beat. And I have also ruled out 16.
LOL
You've piqued my interest. I'm going to bed now, but I'm definitely going to do some research tomorrow.
Have a great night. :-)
Back at you.
Sleep well.
Not me! I would rather eat a booger than sleep with Florence.
Funny how that is.
Some things just should NEVER come back.
If we ever see the return of Leisure Suits, I'm gonna ...well, I don't know what I'm gonna do, but it won't be pretty.
ABBA's music showed heart. If someone never heard their disco stuff -- which wasn't bad either -- except for the genre, one would have to conclude that they had talent, inspiration and heart.
Of course, I have fond memories of the Junior High dance, a girl named Starr -- and Dancing Queen by ABBA. :-)
So I don't totally discount their disco stuff.
Somewhere online is a website that has this info; not the same as a favorite mag -- from better times, though.
If you change your mind,
I'm the first in line

Take a chance on me....
Do you think that there is sometime here for us?
I said I was not exactly waiting for the bus...
Have I told you lately that I love you - No I mean the song, by Van Morrison, remade by Rod Stewart, was written to Jesus.
Van Morrison became a Christian. He's got some other good Christian stuff too.
Morrison's "When Will I Ever Learn" was recorded by Phil Keaggy on Phil's "Crimson and Blue" album. Good stuff.
Van is the Man!
Van's Hymns to the Silence double CD is very inspirational.
His version of Be Thou My Vision is awesome!
Phil Keaggy also covered "Be Thou My Vision"...with bagpipes in the background, among other things. It's downright exhilarating.
Very Kewl!
Born & raised in Southwest Washington, but have spent many years abroad...(mainly in the southern states)
Looks like that's the end of the thread, then.
