The Chucks only came in black or white in my day! I remember having to convince my Mom that there was indeed a sneaker worth $5.95. Who had ever heard of such a thing!

Kiss sucked. They were a joke band. Noe the Bay City Rollers is another story....

Hey that reminds me. We purchased a Chevy station wagon, oh I guess around l976 that was "Coyote Red"......supposedly A.J. Foyt's "color" and his personal demo. Another instance of looking back and thinking.........sheesh, what were we thinking? LOL! It was decked out though, power windows, leather seats and great stereo complete with an 8-track player! *~*

Actually even corporate rockers opposed disco.
The Chicago death to disco event at the baseball stadium was not a "punk/new wave" event.
It is the 21st Century and Disco Still Sucks.

My wife says that terricloth shorts are tacky and low class.
I don't care. When I was a teenager (in the 70s, I was always a teen), they made my dreams come true.

Maybe someone can clear me up on this but I remember there being All-Stars and then another type on Converse shoe that was a "low end All-Star" so to speak that was a bit less expensive. I can remember getting into it with my parents over wanting actual All-Stars and not the low end shoe....
Those were the days.
