TOP 5 GOOD THINGS FROM THE 1970s (this is tough)

You? A hideous monster? I think you're a saint. I kicked my sister out of the house after six weeks.
In my High School, we became much more non-verbal; for possibly the drug-de-jour reasons. The three big songs throughout, that all were trying to emulate, air-guitar included, were... "InDaGotta Da Vita" "Purple Haze" and "Stairway to Heaven". New age public ed, yeknew.
The white hot pants, the *pom-pons* encased in those push-up bras, the oh-so-cool disco drill dancing ... THE DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS!!
Not to impune your background, but you DO realize that song is about a whorehouse?
I am sister to the world, baybee.
Okay, I am a good saintly hideous monster.
I still get a kick outta the fact that "Miss Jane" (Nancy Kulp of The Beverly Hillbillies) couldn't win a seat in Congress, but Gopher could!!
(BTW, before Fred went out to sea, he did one of those corny, Saturday Morning kiddie shows, Monster Squad, 76. Did you ever happen to catch him on it? Cracked me up!!)
Hey teeny, just checked out your home page. Seems we have a littel in common. I am a 36 (one up on ya) stay at home mom of 3 also! I have all boys though.
BTW, cute kids!
Yeppers. Knew it then, too. I was in Marin County, then. Look how they vote!
Cousin Oliver was played by actor Robbie Rist. At that time, his idol was John Denver, why he wore his hair in that style, had glasses with the same frames as Denver.
Being that he had gone so far as a fan, I found it odd that when Denver died in his plane accident, in all the tributes I saw, the reminiscing from old friends, re-running "Oh God" and all, no one went and looked up Robbie to ask him about his memories, talk about the time he actually met John and all. Just thought I'd add, since you brought him up ...

LMAO
You ran a great thread, pissant. Many thanks for the memories.
I'll second that.
It has been a hoot!
You actually have 1 1/2 years on me. You'll be 37 before I am 36 (Jan 20), you old hag.
Thanks for the reminder. I'm going through denial right now. Got myself my first tatoo 3 years ago, another last year, and am about to get a stud peircing in my nose.
What's wrong with me?
. Allman Bros.
Eagles.....
Lynard Skynard
Jethro Tull.....
