Yes! Zarin! He was GREAT! I had such a thrill watching him. And he has me bug-eyed worried...tells you how caught up I am by the new stuff.

I like the female Starbuck because she is exactly as I would imagine the character would be, female OR male. I dont get the feminist vibe off her, and she doesnt get prissy over being a female pilot. She owns the part, you know? Unlike Natalie Portman/Amidala who is supposed to be a fighter-queen, but looks like she'd rather turn the gun into a purse and her boots into Manolo Blahniks. Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia was so cool because she was no-holds barred even if she was wearing senatorial robes. Portman/Amidala looked like she would crumble and whimper into her Blahniks if you so much as barked at her. Fisher/Leia would not only bark back but BITE.

I like female characters like that, especially if they are supposed to be in occupations/situations where that sort of thing helps them survive.

"Did I fit????"

You have to ask? Is it really that BIG? Enough about your sex life, before the mods spank me.

I feel this uncanny desire to drop in and have a beer with this crowd...maybe even buy a round. Too bad it's a virtual community.

Well, here's a virtual beer.

I think you are right about Amidala. Too prissy.

too much head...

This is the sound of me not saying the first thing that popped into my mind, so as to not get the Admin on my case.

Yes, "One Tin Soldier" was a real song by a group called Coven. My mother had that album.

I loved all of those songs, but I was only 11 at the time so I'll blame it on the ignorance of youth.
