The Muppets are coming out with their version of The Wizard of Oz.

I think a moratorium should be declared on that show for at least 20 years. I am SO sick of that show/movie/story.

Worst of the series was the night they featured Black Oak Arkansas.

JIM DANDY TO THE RESCUE!

My best friend had their album in college, and they actually came to play a club in town while we were there. Jim Dandy featured a fair pot belly by that time...it was 1988 or so.

They appeared on the show before "Jim Dandy" was a hit....their featured songs were "Hot and Nasty", "Up", "Gettin' Kinda Cocky", and they were all putrid!

Funny thing is, I always pictured Redd Foxx as Fred Sanford singing that song.

Now I'll never hear that song again without picturing Redd Foxx singing it. It's ruined. LOL.
