I've tried everything I know (which isn't much) but cannot get this file onto a CD.

Thanks very much in advance, and please pardon the vanity post.

If you've never heard a recording of the Japanese surrender, this is a fantastic audio clip. It runs about 17 minutes. I'd like to play this clip after church this Sunday in honor of Memorial Day. We don't have a computer, so a CD is the only way to go.

Thanks again.

The question might be asked at this point: "How do you regularly burn your CDs?"

I simply use the CD Creator software to 'burn' any format file into/onto a CD, be it wav format, mp3 or RealAudio ...

it depends on the file, but for audio I use to convert realplayer to mp3 and then burn. I did using a program called "Streambox Ripper" which can probably still be find thru google. good luck

Mods, would you please add something to this thread's title like: - Mac/iTunes help needed !

The poster needs an .ra file converted to mp3 for burning to cd to play at a church in a standard cd/mp3 player, but he/she's running Apple gear and for some reason the conversion I did for them (on win2k box w/Nero 6 Pro) isn't working.
Total and elapsed recording times both show up correctly, but no sound.

Here's the source file they need converted: vj.ra

Here're the two attempts I made, the first being a higher bitrate than the second: vj.mp3 (12Mb) and vj2.mp3 (8Mb).

I also checked a discussion on a Mac board and others who'd had this problem were told to convert from .ra to .oog and then to .mp3.
I've tried that as well: vj3.mp3 (17Mb) but PW hasn't gotten back to me yet as to whether it worked.

Anyway, I have an acre to mow today, so maybe one of you true geeks can help him/her out.
