Hi - I am the mom of a U.S. Marine serving in Iraq. I just wanted to know if anyone knew about the war memorial park (www.WarMemorialPark.com ) for Iraq Veterans and where it is located? Is it in the Washington D.C. area? I would love to visit there on Memorial Day if it's a fairly short drive.... Many Thanks! Sara

I don't know of any at all, but give your son our best and let him know he and every one of his comrades there are in our prayers.

Hi Marine Momma,
Thank you and your son for your services. We are grateful to you and yours.
If you are asking about the warmemorial park that you have linked here, this appears to be an on-line order outlet to me. It has the same 1-877 phone # as the cafepress that appears on the site.

Our Thanks to your son for his service. Our prayers are with you and your family for the safe return of your Marine. My son is also in Iraq, with a National Guard unit.
God Bless.

After doing a little research and making a few calls, I have found out that this park you are speaking of is not yet complete. It is to be built in Kentucky by an Ex-Marine & Desert Storm Veteran. According to Cafe Press, he is building this park with funds made from the websites www.iraqifreedom.com & www.warmemorialpark.com - I think this is just another great story of vets helping vets! I hope this helps and God Bless you and your son!
