"Robert spends entirely too much time in that janitor's closet you know..."

Good thing I know where the peep hole is.

My hubby is at work-my sister-in-law's hubby went fishing, but he said the bass weren't biting-I think he was probably using the wrong bait-the bass that live in that pool most of the time can get to really deep water any time they want to by just swimming out of the cove into the main lake, but the owner of that marina feeds them twice a day to keep them coming back every day. They can usually be caught with just plastic worms, but don't seem to like flies, spinners and other fancy schmancy lures like that-I don't have any idea what he was using. Shrimp salad is easier to do anyway-everything is ready and just has to be put together at dinnertime. I'll go down the road to the marina early one morning over this holiday weekend with my plastic worms and catch some stripers to cook-the ones that hang out there bite best before 7 or 8 am for some reason...

I'm not a fishing fanatic or a master fisherman-I just like to eat fish and can't see buying it at the grocery store when I live on a lake filled with fish. I only use simple tackle, bait and my indispensible plastic worms...

A doctor examined a woman, took the husband aside, and said, "I don't like the looks of your wife at all." "Me neither doc," said the husband. "But she's a great cook and really good with the kids."

... and she's pretty good in the sack anyway.

It sounded great to me since it is raining off and on and is too cool at just 70 to turn on the A/C without freezing my ass off AND wasting energy-but it is very humid, so I don't want to heat up the kitchen cooking a big dinner, so my SIL and I decided to do shrimp salad-I know my hubby will be happy when he gets home-he can eat his weight in shrimp salad-hope he leaves some for the rest of us.

"in the Potomac"

Is it that bad? If so, that is a shame.

i just got a phone call from jerry kilgore's campaign for governor. i said he could email me and send me a bumper sticker but that i was not feeling very charitable towards anyone in politics since the debacle in the Senate this week, so i was not going to give dime one. he said he understood perfectly. i am guessing i wasn't the first one he heard that from.

If you go up north of DC by Great Falls, no problem at all.

Down by National Airport, I would use more caution (one a month).

South of the Anacostia, forget it. For about 100 miles downstream.

Then it is ok again.

I'll give you a bumpersticker sans contribution, as long as I get to apply it to your bumper myself

Yep - that was a surprise, actually. It is still supposed to be raining.

Good answer on the senate thing.

When the phone calls start here I'm going to do the same thing-these politicians need to realize they have to ingest some testicular growth hormones or they're not getting money any more from people whose interests they were elected to see to.
