Win Xp, Svc. Pak 1 IE Version 6 Netscape version 7.2 Has McAfee but is uninstalled/turned off as it interfered with Netscape program.
Has Adaware & Yahoo Spyware programs
Has personal Firewall running at all times.
They want an AV program that is very easy to install and use.

I use Trend Micro. My boyfriend works in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and said they use it on their computers and I gave it a try and prefer it to McAfee or Norton.

While on this subject, does anyone know why Norton Internet Security software would create problems with Safari (mac)?

"good" is subjective. If you want complete protection, unplug the net and never install another program on your computer ;)
Norton seems to be the Giant. I'm a fan of Panda myself. Then again between a little common sense and ditching IE (get fire fox!) you could also ditch the anti-virus stuff and buy something else.

Have tried Mcafee and Norton...hated them. Now have ZoneAlarm and it's fine I guess. I use that along with Spyware stormer (free) and have not had a virus in a while.
