Meanwhile, Lindsay Graham is certifiable.
a certifiable ONE TERMER!
HAH!!
That joke is an oldie but a goodie. I tell it to my true blonde sister at least once a year and she laughs as though she is hearing it for the first time.
He needs a thorough thrashing. Don't ask, don't tell worked too well for him.
are you listening to him on Seanny's show? sean is not mincing words, he is telling him straight out how angry and betrayed conservatives feel
Hah!
HAH!!
NHL labour deal predicted by June
Bill Daly, the National Hockey League's chief legal officer, has told a New York-based Web site that, if collective bargaining talks with the players' association continue to progress as they did last Friday, a deal could "get done by early June."
I ain't holdin' my breath.
heheheh
What? No extra points for being irresolute in my usage? Come now, my use of irony must good for at least another plus(+)! I violated the sacred traditions of WFTD to produce this result! (I've stuck my finger in the wind and risen ABOVE politics...)
Latest news - two adult bears and one cub spotted on a front porch up the street from me after my sighting sometime last night.
I see your bears and raise you a gator and two pair: a pair of raccoons and a pair of nutria. (it was a toss-up between that a gazillion of a kind--mosquitoes...)
Morning! I'm finally able to grab a minute to myself-hubby is off to work, my guests are not up yet, and since their dog is asleep in there with them, Kitty boy And Husky girl have abandoned their vigil at the guest room door to join me here at the desk.
My sister in law and I got some groceries yesterday, and I took her to some of the tourist trap antique shops in Boerne. I grilled chicken last night and served it with brown and wild rice, salad and steamed spinach. My sister in law and her hubby said they had never had steamed, seasoned veggies before-so what do they DO with veggies when they cook them? Apparently, they put them in a little bit of water and simmer them with a pinch of salt and no other seasoning until they are "done" (limp)-I'll have the steamed, seasoned ones, thanks.
Last night after my hubby had gone upstairs and hers was in the shower, my sister in law and I were watching the Crufts dog show in the kitchen. Kitty boy was somewhere in the living room and Husky girl was sitting beside me-the guest bath door opened, and the Schnauzer erupted into the shrillest, most frantic yapping you can imagine, which made Husky girl run into the hall barking, too-even hubby yelled down the stairs wanting to know what was going on. Well, sister in law's hubby had taken their dog into the bathroom with him to keep her quiet, and when he finished showering and opened the door, she ran out in front of him and headlong into Kitty boy who was lying in wait for just that right outside the door. It probably scared that dog half to death-she went to bed with her master, and all was quiet after that.
Today, I'm taking my sister in law with me to work for a while, then to Comfort and Kerrville to my favorite junque shops while her hubby goes to some of the carpentry shops in SA. We are taking their Schnauzer with us so my dog and cat can have some peace and quiet.
oh i thought maybe the GHOST had made an appearance there for a second! well it does sound hectic, hope you are having fun despite the disrupted routine and the extra animal!
you are a saint.
