Hello, fellow conservatives. (Do we have a smaller word?) This is my first post, so please be kind. I'm new to this form of conversation. I have a question. My daughter is a talented SAG actor, new to LA after studying/graduating in NYC. She is finding it difficult to get an agent, and wonders if perhaps politics may be an issue. (She is a very conservative Republican.) Any of you in LA with any answers? Thanks!

Hey, this is my first post, too. I was a member years ago, but forgot my name, etc., and just re-joined yesterday.
Anyway, can't the agent she had in NYC refer her and introduce her to someone in LA? My brother is in SAG and has an agent and hasn't had any problems with politics. I'd think it would be as much an issue in NY, though. Anyway, I wish her good luck.

Industry people out here are
extremely bigoted. They hate conservatives. She'll have to learn to keep her views to her self. This won't be easy considering the rotting tripe that flies out of so many mouths around here.
(No, I'm not in the entertainment industry; however, I do know quite a few people who are.)
