I knew there would be consequences when Imus decided to move his side-show circus to New Mexico but I never thought it would look quite like this. Dang. :o)
Perhaps it helps scratch the back. Maybe the extra leg helps out in mountanous territory.
On the other hand, it's something else for a predator to latch onto. Probably vulnerable to atrophy, injury and disease as well.
