Cannes, France - Natalie Portman unveiled a new look at Cannes yesterday - a shaved head.
The 23-year-old, who is constantly name-checked as one of the most beautiful women in the world, revealed her new style at the Star Wars premiere.
But don't worry Natalie fans; she has only shed her locks for her role as a freedom fighter in the film V For Vendetta.
Star Wars creator George Lucas was one fella not put off by her new look and playfully rubbed her head.
Joining Natalie and George at the screening were Hayden Christensen and Samuel L Jackson.
But one of the film's stars failed to attend.
Ewan McGregor, who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi, couldn't make the screening as he is currently rehearsing for the upcoming West End show Guys And Dolls.
His absence follows rumours that the star had been unhappy making the last film.
Those who did attend didn't have long to lap up the festival atmosphere though - they'll be jetting into London today for the UK premiere of the sixth and final film in the saga. -
Ew... OVER-RATED.
She's pretty, but not anywhere near the top of Pissant's list.
Let's send her some Nair
"She's pretty"
Not anymore she's not... she's more like an Uber-Dyke.
I like short haired women, but that do is a a tad to short, even for me!
"I like short haired women"
Why? You like'em butch?
Together with an offer to personally apply it, of course....
Since when does short hair=butch? I love my hair shorter. I used to have blonde curly hair past my shoulder blades, but when I had kids, I decided it was too much effort. Best thing I ever did with my hair. I felt a lot more confident too. I think a lot of women use long hair as a crutch or something to hide behind.
"but when I had kids, I decided it was too much effort."
Exactly. You don't care as much about it. For a young unmarried woman, that's not a good sign/doesn't mean the same thing.
out of curiosity, how many thread have you posted?
About 4 since I got to FR. BTW, mine are R rated. Bring a permission slip next time. ;o)
In case you don't get the reference... it's Ms. Swan from Mad TV
Never heard of it nor her. Sorry.
