.... or my keyboard is sticky with Diet Coke.

That reminds me-- I still need to clean the shift boot in my truck-- wifey spilled iced tea all over it the other day...

I'd put my money on the German virus. Here is a message I got this morning from my firm's IT Director:

Hi All,

It's time to remind everyone about the latest wave of viruses on the Internet. The most dangerous is currently the Sober.q virus. Sober.q uses both German- and English-language messages to direct recipients to Web sites with right-wing German nationalistic content. One of the URLs points to the Web site of the right-wing German National Democratic Party. Many of these emails are ending up in your commtouch spam filter as well. Please don't click on this link.

Also please be sure that you do not use any internet based mail such as Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail or any others. Using these mail systems will bypass the many layers of security we have and increase your risk of being infected by this virus.

If you receive a delivery notification that will look something like what's listed below, someone on the internet has you in their contacts and has the sober virus. We'll be seeing a lot of this for a couple weeks. We've thoroughly reviewed all our access points and are protected but it's still up to you to look our for this and not accidentally help replicate it through our systems. Please make sure that you have the latest virus definition on your home computers and if you've been traveling extensively with your laptop, feel free to call the help desk to make sure our latest virus definitions have reached your laptop.
