Try a combo of Spybot & AdAware. Between the two, they'll kill most all. Then get yourself a good firewall. AVG and Norton have both worked for me. After all that, Get a router, even if you only have one computer. That will give you one more layer of protection. Not overnight I know, but get there, it's worth it !!!!

I have not been able to get rid of MYSEARCH - fortunately it seems relatively benign.

Spybot finds it and claims to eliminate it, but it always comes back (for a while I suspected FR was infecting me). "Add/Delete" programs of course did not work.

Will Spysweeper do the trick?
