You can go extreme in a boycott if you want. For me, the only Star Wars film I will repeatedly view is the first (1977) and frankly I like some other SF films better (Ray Harryhausen for example).

"Empire" ends with credits but has no end. WAY too many lingering plotlines.

"Jedi" leaves an hollow ending because it is a weak film.

"Episode 1" has a major "boy races to save the farm" subplot.

"Clones" was weak although as with the other films, had that "Star Wars" feel. So do the Bond films. Some of them suck too.

This film will reportedly be more pointed in its political message than the earlier films.

Some may boycott bringing such propaganda into their homes. Doesn't mean that all Lucasfilms carry such a message.

But, the money will still go to him and their executives and that means they can donate to the DNC. Same thing with Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. I'm not saying I'M gonna boycott the movie. I'm just saying that a boycott is a form of protest, and if you're not gonna protest both companies, then its kinda like Jean F. Cheri saying, "I actually did vote for the 87 billion, BEFORE I voted against it." Its kinda how certain teenage girls don't believe in abortion, but somehow, its ok for them to get hammered, plowed, coked up, and knocked up in the same night. Its almost as if the fact that they don't believe in abortion means that they don't need as much help as you think.
