Jumping strays - Stealing unattended or abandoned drinks at a bar or party. As in, “I’m so broke I’ve been jumping strays all night.”

This one can be risky, LOL, Saw a guy get the snot kicked out of him last week for this very thing.

I thought "jumping strays" was the art of getting the drunk chicks who stayed at the party after all their more sensible friends left!
