RINO ALERT--CHUCK HAGEL WAVERING AGAINST BOLTON AND JUDICIAL NOMINEES (ABC THIS WEEK)
ABC NEWS THIS WEEK | May 8, 2005 | An American Patriot

Posted on 05/08/2005 9:16:48 AM PDT by An American Patriot

(Paraphrasing): Senator Chuck Hagel was heard to be wavering on whether he would support Bolton under questioning by George Step-En-Fetch-Enopolous at 11:55 a.m. (EST) He would not comment on whether he would vote to send Bolton's nomination to the floor and said he would reserve judgment until he had heard all of the evidence. Worst yet were his comments on his (apparent) [non]support for the Constitutional Option with regards to ending filibusters on Presdident Bush's judicial nominations.

(Paraphrasing) Senator (RINO) Hagel, went so far as to say that he believe in the "minority" party "maintaining" their "right" to fillibuster and worst yet, went so far as declaring that the Republicans hands "were not clean," in that they "blocked" some of Clintoons' nominations by now allowing them out of committee to be voted on. (DOES NOT LOOK PROMISING FOR THE GOOD GUYS)

I agree with you. The reason Hagel is on these press shows is because he's a RINO, and they know he'll say stuff like this. It is part of the Liberal Media(TM)'s agitprop campaign.

And Hagel said he wants to hear all the evidence--well isn't the Dems' fishing expedition over with already? There was hardly any shocking info dug up on him. I know they are threatening to boycott the meeting on May 12, but I doubt they'll go through with it. Hagel will send Bolton out of committee, at least--and that will all but assure Bolton's confirmation.

Your being taken in by the MSM. The Republicans always lose on the Sunday talking head shows but they are going to win in committee or on the Senate floor inre Bolton.

Hagel is a piece of crap and if he thinks doing this is gaining him presidential posture, he's living in fantasy land.

It was a real "love fest" by and between Hagel, Stephanapolous, and Carl Levin

Levin was parroting the party line about "not changing the rules," etc., and was adamantly opposed to "ANY COMPROMISE."

That POS, Hagel, never corrected him and was so condescending as to be sickening.

Frist is got his work cut out for him with this RINO and quite a few others.

Although Frist "claims" he has the votes to exercise Constitutional Option, I am beginning to wonder; does he? And perhaps this is why he has been reluctant to "pull the trigger?"

If Frist can't take a couple of these RINO's to the woodshed and explain the facts of life (or the Senate) and straighten them out, then he should step down and let someone take over who has some leadersip skills/ability (IMHO)

As an aside, why are there only RINO's and NO DINO's?

I hope your right, my friend.

Am well aware of the modus operandi of the MSM. However, if one adds Hagel, Mc SWINE, Collins, Snowe and Chafee, that makes FIVE.

Then, you have our good friend and semi-rino Specter--who can be a wild card, not to mention Voinovich and Murkowski (Alaska, who had made some wavering comments) and it gives one pause for thought--none of it reassuring.

EXACTLY!!!

So, what is wrong with the majority leadership, other than they appear to be all (except Delay) wusses that are so eager to "git-along" and are running scared from the MSM from being labeled "obstructionists," "evil," "extreme," etc., etc., etc.

I guess after wandering in the wasteland of minority status for 40 years, the pubs don't know how to act as winners and the dims/libs don't know how to act as losers, only "they" are much better at it than we. Amazing!

" So, what is wrong with the majority leadership"

What's wrong with the leadership is what plagues most of the Congress...it's called Professional Politicians. No longer do they represent the people. They represent the businesses that finance them. You probably have 530 elected folks up there in Washington working hard to get closer to those special interest groups that always have a do nothing, high paying jobs for them when they decide to retire to the public sector.

"you're" is a contraction for "you are"?

Remember contractions?
