God rest his soul. He fought a good fight in VN and with his cancer. I didn't always agree with him, but like some of us he had his opinions and stuck with them.

Even though this is a joint task force, all of the CE guys are USAF. I now have a private little room in the SE Asia Sea Hut that I call home. We won't go into the details of where the wood, etc... came from, or who did the construction. But it sure is nice to escape the noise, lights, etc of my hootchmates. ;>)

I found Toby. I called his house again and there was no answer. That had me worried so I called the hospital. That's where he is. He's doing well and he may be home tonight or tomorrow ..I think I heard him say.

His heart was beating a tad slow, but it is beating well..now.

Thank you for getting in touch with Toby!. Cardioversion isn't a picnic - it is done under anesthesia and can leave the patient wobbly at best. Also, it is good that they are keeping him in house to monitor the a-fib and make sure he stays in normal sinus rythym.

If you talk to him again tonight, please forward my best. Naturally, he is in my prayers.
