When Mrs.L and my doc finally brow-beat me into submitting for the colonoscopy procedure, I opted for drinking two big glasses of warm water mixed with two tablespoons of sea salt, instead of whatever drugs they sell you for the runs.
(I was complimented on doing such a thorough "job.")
The procedure itself is a snap; since you're knocked out.

Me too....about 45 minutes and we go to dinner next door. a little later than normal, so I'm HUNGRY.
Al is putting the steaks on the grill while we watch Brit. He knows the gas is going to run out, so we will compensate for that.. (one more drink?)
The asss-paragus and sweet potato french fries don't take long..and he might get a bite of cake in too.
I told him...eat the cake....you'll get a better/true reading of your sugar.. Am I wrong? lol
Anyway, it's a beautiful evening and we're having a grand old time. ;)
Sounds great....we're doing a neighborhood grilling next door, then coming back to our place to watch the basketball game on the big screen. Go Pistons!

Just finished supper. It was all great. Al cooked the steaks perfect and they were thick tasty sirloin strips.
But............he got his carrot cake in...and I'll tell you........he says that the cake is the best of all of it. Poor guy bought me the fixings over a week ago and I just got to making it. I'll have to admit..for simplicity and flavor, it can't be beat. Yum!!!
