I have a bungy stick trap (as in Viet Nam) surprise for this........:-)
Nice pic Gran. Buy it and start a tax exempt cult.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I cannot accept
And the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people
I had to kill today because they pissed me off
And did you finally clean out your barn for the yard sale?
Outstanding barnsaver link - I'll be in contact with them regarding my grandfather's old buildings.
Howdy gang .. love that old church building gran... and it's setting.
I know just EXACTLY what you mean!!!!
So sorry to hear about your back -- hope you found some relief today.
Roche Harbor is beautiful .. you're lucky you got such great weather. Nothing beats the Puget Sound in 80 degree sunshine.
I wonder how old the church is, and how much land is with it?
I know there are huge sand quarries in the back not too far where the kids do four-wheeling etc. I also hate to see the old wood and pews are let come to ruin. It has no foundation, so the floor could be gone and it would only be good for parts. Many old places like that in Maine, and any normal person wouldn't live in Maine anyway unless they were forced to. Nice place to visit, but then leave. ;)
That front door lintle very closely resembles the front door on our house, which Al is trying to strip as best he can and re-paint right now.
I will have to give my son a jog to check it out and find out the age if he can. I didn't get a chance to walk the cemetary to see the oldest graves, but they were very old in appearance. Just some ordinary quaintness of the n'oth woods.
Not my barn Babe, my daughters house. She has to empty it and live here while they work on hers.
I learned one thing at her yard-sale. "I" will NEVER have one. I will put a BIG sign on my barn and it will say, "Come and steal what you want, because you know you don't want to pay for anything anyway!" ;)
LOL...this is true. Garage-salers practice the ancient art of haggling over price. There are not many places in the USA where one can do that anymore.
Thanks Val......it's much better today. I'm walking and virtually pain free....cut way down on the meds too. Just have to be careful now.
Gabe tossed a piece of notebook paper down on the coffee table when he got home from summer school today. Of course I had to pick it up and look .... apparently Ashlii thinks he's so cute she just had to write him a note.
What a wonderful display of Americana. Thank you Val, I needed that.
I'm sooo tired of hearing about how ugly this country is. Doesn't look too ugly in those shots.
