Interestingly, the boat actually has a small steadying sail...the older model "fast trawlers" as this one is, used a small sail to help a bit with rolling in heavy weather.

One neat feature was the way the dingy was secured to the transom...all you do is wind a small winch and it easily lowers to the water.

Serve it correctly, or don't serve it at all.

They just dumped 3 more new cases on me. I'm losing my mind...not that I had much to spare.

Want to hear a tragic irony? There is a woman who we had a case on who had given up a child for adoption, then went on to become one of the rare few who got her life together. A couple of my coworkers who had worked with her were telling me about how good she had been doing. She had gotten married and was expecting and very happy about it. The baby was stillborn. The funeral was today. Very sad.

*Sigh*

Well, back to work to work for a bit. Still got to finish my documentation. Some days it would be nice to just come home and forget about work.

Margaret and I went through several miscarriages before Daniel.

That was devastating enough.

I can't imagine how much worse a stillbirth must be.

I was just checking in about the quake. Just had it on breaking news out of Springfield. 7.0 they're saying, at Eureka. Where is that?

It would be awful. I have been through having a miscarriage too. Like you said, that's bad enough.
