Well, I guess the jury just didn't have enough solid evidence and had to acquit. I still have faith in juries.
My husband (for now) was once a juror on a rape case. Four old geezers on the jury kept insisting that since the man was arrested and charged, he must be guilty. Would you want your life in hands of these idiots?

Exactly correct. When was the last time that anyone ever had a trial by a jury of their "peers?"
(But who would Jocko's peers be?)
Cheers, CB
(Best wishes on the family front.)

I have tried
not to follow this trial.....which is hard to do.
What little I read and heard, it was hard for me to believe he would be convicted. Doesn't mean I think he's a nice man, or even innocent of being a perv, just think in this case there was true doubt........unlike OJ who skated because of a racist jury nullifying justice.
I was a juror one time, a murder trial of someone being killed by a shotgun at 3'. I voted to acquit, not because the guy didn't do it, but because the prosecutor couldn;t prove beyond the shadow of a doubt it wasn't self defense. that's what you're supposed to do, I respect our system a lot after being a part of it. Was disgusted with OJ's jury, disgusted with what is called "jury nullification", don't think that's what happened here, just a thin case, with some pretty contradictory testimony and poor witnesses.

I'll have to take your word for it; not having heard one word of the testimony, but just Good Grief.
Anyone who pays parents for their little boys to spend time at FreakLand...what a country.
Cheers up there.

Maybe the authorities should go about this in a different way. Why shouldn't CPS investigate every parent that allows their child to attend a slumber party with Michael Jackson, knowing that he has publically admitted sleeping in the same bed with them. Surely these are grounds for child neglect or endangerment.

"where's that darn Gran?" Up to no good, like as not.

"Mrs.L tells me that Jocko skated on ALL charges... " Is anybody really surprised? Having sex with children, especially if they're the same gender, is the fashionable "altenate lifestyle choice" these days, doncha know?

It is amazing...I'm in a camp at about 12,000 feet elevation and we are snowed in. This is entertaining, since there is nothing but soccer on the telly.
