Sitting down to rest. I've just spent the last hour and a half standing in one place, as I prepared Morel Mushrooms. The fieldhands were appreciative. (my feet were not!)
The Trumpet Lilies are toast. They were about a foot and a half tall yesterday. Today at noon their heads are drooping on the soil. I will give them a couple of days and then cut them off if they don't turn around.
The Magnolia Tree's leaves are gray. It will be interesting to see if the leaves drop. Annebelle Hydrenga leaves are blackened on the West side of the plant and on the top. I believe I mentioned the Hosta damage earlier.
As soon as I get the mushroom mess cleaned up I will head outside to finish clearing the flower beds. I should be able to get it finished today if I don't have many interuptions.
What a shame.
Oh that is too bad. Sure hope everything is ok.
Gardner, where are you??? Am I missing your posts?
