Need Information about Cats...

Ok kitties.

I have a female cat who has just had her first litter of kittens. I would like her to have another litter next year. She is an outside cat but we have kept her in since just before the kittens were born...we don't want her to breed again this year. Is there a kitty version of Depo prova that we can give her that would last a year, be fairly inexpensive and give me a break from kittens everywhere?

Am I asking for too much?

While I am at it, is there a reason that pet shots cost so much and that there isnt a pet vaccine kit availble for 39.00?

I believe Wisconsin now has a low-cost birth control program for cats in place.

Breeders keep them in cages much, if not most, of the time. Inhumane if you ask me.
