Problem is between the bad stories last year and the constant tweaking of the schedule they lost their audience. CBS does the same thing to "King of Queens". One week it's on, then it's on Monday, then it's not on at all, then it's a rerun, then it's on an hour earlier.
With a DVR it's hard to keep up and they wonder why they lose audience.
Or maybe Kevin James is asking for too much money and they want to knock the show off the air.
CBS used to do that a lot. I stopped allowing myself to become a fan of shows on CBS because it seemed every time I got into a show it would then be preempted for a month for Billy Graham Crusades and such, I now don't even bother with their shows until they hit syndication.
