Dogs eat their own crap and sometimes roll in it. They also lick themselves clean in that area as well. They also carry more human-transferable diseases than cats do.

Actually dogs have less germs in their mouths than cats and cats do carry disease that humans can get...such as Cat Scratch fever! So I would say that there are flaws on both sides. However cats still are nasty little creatures...all in fun! :)
