I agree with your assessment of Scott. Personally, I like Scott as most people know, but some can't get past his appearance and his arrest.
If people would just listen to his voice, he is really good.
Do you really think the Stepford Barbie comment is going to hurt Carrie? Or will people just forget about it?
I sure hope she comes out next week in something sexy and fun. The mom in me doesn't want her to go too far over to the sexy side, but she could really dazzle people with just a bit more effort.

Exactly! Just reading the comments here shows how different all of our opinions are. I personally like Bo and Carrie, but other posters have not. Nothing is predictable with the voting public.
Show tunes stank for all of them imho and that song that Bo did for 70's dance music, what a laugh. That song was not a dance song. But I guess we now know that you don't have to follow the category, or that they will give some people a pass on the theme.
It's not objective and if the producers feel the need to slant the public toward a particular candidate because "it's time" or because the think they know what will be successful, they should have learned a valuable lesson in the disastrous, non-selling Fantasia record.
and at the same time they're hardly chart-topping groups with albums that fly off the shelves.
Supposedly the lead singer of TOOL/A perfect Circle got saved and is now "rocking for Jesus" as it were. I think its a marketing gimmick myself, as he at one time in his past used to hand out business cards which referred to himself as Jesus. I think he's just needing attention, but I hope for the best.
