New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Don't know about rabbits. Never tried it outside.
Who are Santana?
Have fun...
Hint one: their name is Carlos...
Well I tried playing the whistle at 'em and all I got was the deer-in-the-headlights look.
Okay, I think I've calmed down now. I'm at church waiting for Luke to get out of his class. We didn't have choir tonite because the youth choir is singing Sunday. Their production is Sunday night.
On the way here, bringing both boys, I called the person who coordinates our snack bar and gate guards. Jr. works for her.
This afternoon, Jr. and friends were hanging around the front desk. That's verbotten, especially by co-workers not on duty. The gate guard asked them to step back. Jr. smarted off to her. Apparently he thinks he can get away with stuff because Dad's the boss. He's so flippin' clueless sometimes.
THEN, it was reported to me and he confirmed this, he said to her "I'll just come over there and slit your throat." He said he was joking. I said I didn't care that was NEVER appropriate.
I turned the truck around and sent him in the house. He'll miss youth group and a rehearsal afterwards. We had to deliver snacks for another class, or I would've just kept Luke home as well.
He'd just best hope the bruises don't show under the stage lights.
This is all after I had a father threaten to pull his membership last night after I talked to his son (who was going around yelling "Holy $#1t!" and insulting our workers because he "has more money." The Dad told me "he's not like that."
Oh, yes he is. And one day we'll see that whole family on Jerry Springer because he's got 'em snookered.
But Jr's behavior now reflects doubly bad on me, and I just won't tolerate that.
He's basically a good kid. But not always the brightest crayon in the box.
~sigh~
Wonder where do they keep the sacramental wine...
Oh dear. Sorry Corin.
Sigh....
He'll thank you for it one day. Hopefully, before you get Alzheimers.
Thanks. We'll be all right. I know he was just being stupid and mouthing off. But it still infuriates me.
I know... I was a teenager once too.
hey howdy there... :-)
Santana! Yikes that will be fun... Tell us how it was!
The horses are ready to go trail riding... This is them moments before they trampled me to death ;~D
More horse pics from today here
Heh... some good lookin' horses there.
Soooo....how long does it take to drive from Portland to Seattle?
Three hours... ;~D
Evening!
Hmmmm.....
I gots a field trip to the Mount Hood area sometime in the middle of July.
Really! Will you have time for a visit north? We're only two hours from Portland here at our place.
That's what I'm thinking. I have to go back and doublecheck the dates. I think we're supposed to be out there (working) for 3 days.
Well, that would be very cool. We'd come up with something interesting to do... maybe take you to the ocean or something you didn't see when you were here before!
That'd be cool! I'll have to go find out the dates.
Got a fresh hairball from the cat. Need to go put it out for the rabbits.
