New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
hehehehe...
I think The Pantsuit would outlive the roaches.
Not yet... tomorrow we take off for g'nadland, though, so it's sort of Thursday for us...
Road Trip! I'm so envious, I love a good road trip!
I do to, so long as I'm driving... which I am...
Hey, 30% isn't so bad. Maybe it'll blow over.
And if we gots to be stuck indoors...it's a decent group to be stuck indoors with. ;-)
Lovely here right now - clear, slightly breezy, and about 60. Which I didn't have laundry going - I'd pick a direction and walk.
Since when is fault required in order to place blame?
Tam is such a nosy little brat. They're going yard work outside here, and he's going nuts trying to see every detail. The balcony railings get in the way - I don't trust him OUT on the balcony, so he can just see out the door.
If they made binoculars his size and there was a way to strap them on, he'd be one of those neighbors that spys on everyone. Little snoop.
OK, it's late, but I'm only just now drinking coffee. Hence I can't spell.
I'll be OK soon. Hope.
Let him out on the blacony - what's the worst that could happen? He'll be too busy eating the flowers to do anything else.
;-)
Okay, so Nana swears by Avon's "Skin So Soft." She puts it on the cat to soften her skin and keep off fleas. But she also used to put it on cotton balls and put them in her plants. Cats can't stand the smell.
He'd decide to go check out the next balcony...and the bushes below...and the view from across the street...
He's a brat, but I love him. Rather not see him as a pancake.
Poor kitty...
You need to get a leash so he can go outside just a little ways... of course then he'd probabl try to jump and end up dangling in midair.
Did I tell you about the nayberhood cat that likes to hide in my daylilies and watch the bird feeder?
I'm hopin' she'll get herself a squirrel. Danged tree rats figgered out muh "guaranteed squirrel proof" bird feeder.
Squirrels are evil. And rabid.
If he had a harness, it wouldn't hurt if he did that. Just surprise him greatly. ;-)
I forget...are there any areas along College where they don't have sidewalks? I'm thinking of walking to The Catholic Store (they really coulda picked a more original name...), just to get out, but I'm afraid of getting halfway there and finding out there's no easy way to walk.
And cute!
But then, a lot of evil things are cute.
Other than that little bridge by the mall, I don't believe so - but it's a long walk...
Though if you plan it so you're there around noonish, you could walk up to my building afterwards and we could go home (by way of the likker store) together.
Just on Laurel to Mason?
Yeah, it'd be about an hour long walk, I figure.
I can't leave until eleven thirty, though. Laundry. So I'd probably get there at twelve thirty, and could get to your building by a little before one. Would that work?
