I wish I was going to shootmoot... and I'm also disappointed that I'm not making it down to ride in OK. But I intend to do it later... and visit the chickens and Mr. 2J and the kids.... if not this summer, then maybe next.

I like having Becky nearby...it's nice to have some that knows what you're talking about when you say "The church down the street..." or "I saw it on sale at Doc's Country Mart."

And because we didn't have real contact back then, I forget sometimes that Penny went to the same high school as me. Now that's a small world.

I guess my folks left. According to my dad, they were supposed to leave this morning.

I'm sad that your folks have left, 2J... I wish things were better for you and your mom. Maybe the distance will mean less opportunity for offense and that will be better for both of you getting along, at least in writing and phone calls. I hope anyway!

You know the three legged tippy tall table in the livingroom? It doesn't work in a household with cats. And I know I've said it before and ignored it. This is my fault, in other words.
The good news is...the glass was only a third full.
The bad news is...it was red wine.
I forgot to finish mine last night. Guess what got spattered across an incredible portion of the livingroom?
I wiped it up as much as I could, but I guess I need to rent a carpet cleaner at some point. I'm guessing it would come up easily with the right stain remover, but right now, there are pink places.
Dishwashing soap and hydrogen peroxide will get the stain out.
Otherwise, just get some OxyClean spray stuff the next time you're at the store.
It'll come out easy.
