As a Jew, I would wish the new Pope the traditional Jewish: "may you live to 120!"

To which this Baptist says "Amen!" Already I can hear the popping sounds of liberal brains exploding all over the western world. Think of the Martians in the movie "Mars Attacks". ;)

Isn't it interesting to see how this wise choice by the Catholic Church can bring Baptists and Jews together?

I have also been grateful for the support of Israel expressed by many traditional Protestants. Perhaps we are entering an age of true brotherly love - at least among conservatives.
