I was just discussing my interest in getting away from Windows last week with our office computers.

Windows and her applications tends to be full of bloatware. Seriously, what is the difference in Money FSB 2004 and Money FSB 2005 code other than different graphics and another $100 per license upgrade?

Let us know how stable it is and isn't there a MS Office-like application available as well?

Yeah. Check out Open Office.org.

I see. And what did your computers have to say about it?

;)

I'm running the home version, which works with Win 95/98. It's cheap, at $29. If there are only a few apps that you need to run, and you have an unused copy of Win 98 lying around, it's a perfect solution.

Windows runs very well under Win4Lin. I haven't had a crash with it yet. And, I'm not running on state of the art equipment...a 6 year old Compaq laptop with 433 mHz and 196 MB RAM.

I imagine that the Pro version that runs 2000/XP would be well worth the money if you had a state of the art system and really needed the functionality of a newer Windows OS.
