I was wondering that too because whorealdo said they were going to pick up the speech if he was saying anything interesting. Of course, we know what would be intereting to them and that's DeLay saying he was stepping down .. BUT SINCE DELAY WOULD NEVER SAY THAT we may not get to see the speech.

Text of the Second Amendment
"A well regulated Militia
being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."
Anyone who actually reads AND understands the 2nd Amendment will see that there is no need or authority for any type of gun registration and there is no need for anyone to have to apply for a license to carry a gun.
Any political party, politician, judge (etc), organization or individual who trys to convince you that:
1) you must register a firearm
2) you must pass a background check
3) you must wait (x) amount of days before you can get your firearm
4) you need to have a license to carry a gun
is either uneducated about OUR rights as citizens
OR is actively working to undermine OUR country.
How Did the Founders Understand the Second Amendment?
CONGRESS in 1866, 1941 and 1986 REAFFIRMS THE SECOND AMENDMENT
The Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment right to keep and bear firearms,
originated in the United States Congress in 1789 before being ratified by the States.
On three occasions since then--in 1866, 1941, and 1986--
Congress enacted statutes to reaffirm this guarantee of personal freedom
and to adopt specific safeguards to enforce it.
ON THE DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving 1993,
the 103d US Congress brought forth a constitutional turkey.
The 103d Congress decided that the Second Amendment did not mean what it said
("...shall not be infringed") and passed the Brady bill.
How the Brady Bill Passed (and subsequently - "Instant Check")
When the Brady Bill was passed into law on November 24, 1993,
the Senate voted on the Conference Report
and passed the Brady Bill by UNANIMOUS CONSENT.

Wish you could have been at our Convention -- would give you complete faith in our elected Reps. We also had Rick Green of Wallbuilders speak at our Convention breakfast this morning.
This is an offyear and was the most awesome State Convention I have been to starting with J.C. Watts last night -- you would have loved it. Conservatives -- social and fiscal were everywhere. Pro-life was mentioned over and over again.
It was great and left all of us ready to go out and elect more conservatives.

I don't see any protestors, so I thought you were watching on Free Speech TV, but all I see is some good time rock'n'roll, phoney baloney, rubber banana, long haired, maggot infested, dope smoking hippie hosting an environmentalist whacko TV show.

Is there anyone here who prefers to listen to Geraldo, instead of Tom Delay?
We don't want commentary -- we want to hear Tom Delay!!!
To: All
Geesh. Tom DeLay is finally speaking and Geraldo is inviting his guests to talk over him. How lame!

Why are they all talking over Tom DeLay?
To: GABaptist
Ah. So Tancredo can say something he really believes, and we cannot?
IMO, Tancredo is upset his solitary issue isn't being advanced and taking a childish shot at a solid conservative that has done far more for conservatisism than he, and because of it is the subject of a coordinated MSM/DEM witchhunt.
Just because a person stands up against illegal immigration doesn't mean they are worthy of my respect. As of yet Tancredo has failed to distinguish himself personally or professionally apart from this one sole stance, and he's had ample opportunity to do so.
You stand behind Tancredo who has rhetoric but nothing to show for it. I stand behind the person of record conservative achievements that is being unjustly villified. To each their own.

No s*** and it was a FOX News Alert. I didn't tune in to hear three rubes sitting around analyzing a speech no one can hear.
