We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
American National Income Redistribution Day has come and gone, and with it the annual chore of actually informnig our Government how much they were allowed to confiscate from us under the law. Indeed we spent SIX THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED MILLION HOURS preparing the paperwork during the last tax season.
Put another way, the IRS accounts for fully 80 percent of all of the Government-compliance paperwork faced by the public.
Wall Street ended the week at a two-year low.
The Predident of Ecuador has declared a state of emergency and instituted martial law throughout the country. People have taken to the streets.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Yep... The commentary this morning was the hero (Orlando Bloom) has to struggle with the invading Christians.
I'm sorry... I didn't know the Muslims had taken up residency in Jerusalem.
Thanks for the update, we were traveling yesterday. I figured the Tancredo story would be in breaking news and when I didn't see it there I thought maybe this was breaking either this morning or late last night. When I heard this it nearly caused me to stroke out, LOL.
Very disappointing from Tancredo, I didn't peg him for a self-admiring perfumed prince. Pinkerton on FoxNews gave some very good and mildly scathing observations of Tancredo and the Pubs related to this story. FoxNews said they hope to have Tancredo on the show this AM.
lysie, thanks for the baseball pic & ping. Alas, the Tribe is having ....difficulties...making the right plays at the right times....
Think I overdid it outside yesterday....& will probably do so again today!
Water was turned back on at the end of the afternoon yesterday, but it is still a strange color...not good for washing clothes...
bump your links for later read
It probably has something to do with that crazy ex-girlfriend of mine.........
Yikes!!! I had forgotten all about her!!
Please be careful!
What we need to understand is that both parties have kooks. But the media never goes looking for disloyal Democrats to trash Democratic leaders. We know for a fact that the New York times even went after former Congressman Livingston to write a column attacking Delay. Livingston got in trouble by cheating on his wife. He resigned his seat in the House. The New York times was obviously prepared to fix Livingston's reputation if he would just trash Delay.
We would have never known if Livingston had not told others what the New York Times wanted him to do. They asked him to write a column attacking Delay. When Livingston told them he would write a column supporting Delay the New York Times refused to publish it.
Tancredo is a publicity hound. The media went to him offering lots of positive publicity if he did a turncoat. He did it.
The media has invested a lot of effort in finding a Republican turncoat. Take comfort in the fact the best they could do was Tancredo.. a man who does not have the respect of the Republican leadership. Tancredo is the the Republican version of Traficant.
I have contacted my Congressman Bob Ney asking that Tancredo be removed from any congressional committees he wants to be on and instead be given a low level seat on the committee in charge of Washington Restrooms.
Delay and all Republican Congressman needs to know we support Delay. Tancredo needs to know that we will work for any one .... Democrat or Republican who will run against him.
Ohio Democrats gave up a Democrat seat in the house to gerrymander Traficant out of office. With a republican governor and Republican legistlature doing the 2000 redistricting in Ohio, Deomcrats had to negotiate to get rid of Traficant. They paid the price of a sure Democratic District in Dayton Ohio to get rid of Traficant. They were afraid he could get relected in his old distrit even while being in prison.
The media will give tons of positive publicity to any Republican turncoat. Democratic turncoats can't get 15 seconds on the 3:Am news. Only C-Span gave Traficant air time.
I would ask the media one question
Tom Delay hired his wife and kids to work for him.
Tom Daschles hired his wife out to big corporations as a lobbyist to congress.
What techniques did Mrs Tom Daschle use to influence Congress when her husband was Majority leader of the senate. The excuse was that Mrs. Tom Daschle never lobbied her husband for the millions she was paid. Can you imagine the conflict of interest if the wife of the Majority leader came to a Democratic Senator and asked him to vote for some big Corporation? The media did not find the Daschle family conflict newsworthy at all.
As far as turn coats in the Republican Party I only have one thing to say
The President didn't like the rulings of the Supreme Court. He dismissed them as, apparently, he can do under the Constitution, and then declared martial law.

Toby ---- ouch, Tempting God???
BTW I think your idea of blue gift is cute.. If you felt it was funny, others will also.. (sneak it out?) Funny how roles reverse, isn't it? a few years back you would have been chastising her for something inappropriate in your opinion
:)
Saw president yesterday... been very busy here. Not home often but when I am I am outside working in yard. Molly, I too have been having sore "everything" of late with yard chores.
You have a great excuse to let the laundry pile up a little..
Hope everyone has a good weekend
You two have lunch!
Wall of China!!
What's all the comotion with the Chinese protests of Japan?
Looks like a government organized propoganda trick.
I can see the subtitle on the screen: Richard "George W. Bush" The Lionhearted.
A Boston Globe (subsidiary of the NYT) reporter caught fabricating story.

I saw a thread on that last night. Are we surprised? Nope.
I concur. A little after prairiebreeze's comment I replied in the same vein, although not as eloquently.
I just visited the Drudge web site, which I hadn't done in weeks. Yikes. Reading just the headlines is enough to turn me off the news for weeks. It's like the world went nuts.
BTW, starting tomorrow night, PBS is running a new Miss Marple series my husband told me.
This is about the new Miss Marple series on PBS:
