But YES-- Judge Boyd verified that that was his court order. THe attorney for the family should have gone to the Judge when it was violated. It is the Dr that violeted it though- and ya don't want to make them mad- You needed them to say Mae should be treated and not left in Hospice
It is very messy-- this whole thing could have been handled better by BOTH sides-
I recognize this- but I am certainly in agreement on the side FOR LIFE-- NOT THE SIDE FOR DEATH!
When these folks hold the power of life and death in their hands of your loved ones, I am sure there is a delicate dance to make sure you can get them safe, then, let litagation fly. Long sentence, I know, but typing out emails trying to keep an eye on several different websites for updates, and hope you will forgive the poor grammar.

It sounds like Judge Boyd is not the problem here. Either that or he's in CYA mode.
Is it true that he only gave Gaddy a TEMPORARY guardianship? And, now that it's questionable whether or not Gaddy truly has Mae's best interests at heart, why can't the judge appoint one of Mae's siblings as her guardian instead? That's all he has to do to end this fiasco. Why doesn't he do it?
OK, at this point (especially based on some of the confusion and suspicions that some FReepers are now having re: Ken's side of the story) I think Ken needs to get Mae's siblings up off their butts and out doing some interviews with him. Otherwise, it's his word against Gaddy's.
At the very least, he could have Glenn Beck call the family members to get their side of the story via a telephone interview or two. The rest of the family needs to speak up! I personally believe Ken is sincerely trying to protect Mae and that he really does perceive Beth Gaddy as a threat to her.
eeevil, is there any way you could contact Ken and tell him that the rest of the family needs to back him up and that they need to do this ON THE RECORD!
