supercat,

I really like this verse form your song about terri.

The more one looks into this sordid case,
The clearer the evil plot.
They're not trying to starve her because she's dying,
but rather because she's not.
It's clear Michael Schiavo, George Felos, and Judge Greer
Are fighting with all their might
Not because Terri won't speak up,
But rather because she might.

Hopefully you wont' write another verse right away. Give it some time. See how many more Mae Magouirk's there are. perhaps verse 4 it will write itself....

I really like this verse [verse 2] from your song about terri.

Thanks. It's actually the third one written, but it made more sense in the #2 spot so I put it there. I wrote it before the reports that Terri tried to tell her attourney "I waaa...", but as soon as I heard that report I had a feeling of déjà vu.

I really do feel I was divinely inspired while I was doing some of the writing, and I think some of the text really flows amazingly well. It did take a bit of effort to get the rhythm to work on line #5, but I am extremely pleased with the result.

One thing I've not decided, and probably won't decide until emerging events clarify verse #4, is whether to change the song from present tense to past tense. Artistically I like it much better in the present tense, but it would seem a little strange to sing of Theresa Marie as though she were still alive in body rather than just spirit.

I wonder if the Schindlers ever listened to the CD I sent them, and if so what they think?
