I really like this verse [verse 2] from your song about terri.

Thanks. It's actually the third one written, but it made more sense in the #2 spot so I put it there. I wrote it before the reports that Terri tried to tell her attourney "I waaa...", but as soon as I heard that report I had a feeling of déjà vu.

I really do feel I was divinely inspired while I was doing some of the writing, and I think some of the text really flows amazingly well. It did take a bit of effort to get the rhythm to work on line #5, but I am extremely pleased with the result.

One thing I've not decided, and probably won't decide until emerging events clarify verse #4, is whether to change the song from present tense to past tense. Artistically I like it much better in the present tense, but it would seem a little strange to sing of Theresa Marie as though she were still alive in body rather than just spirit.

I wonder if the Schindlers ever listened to the CD I sent them, and if so what they think?

You know what I have thought? That the generation who instituted abortion and fought for it, may now, as they enter old age, suffer the result of their tireless lobbying to kill helpless lives!

I am very sad that this is happening. We must fight as hard as we can to rid our nation of this culture of death...but;

I find it a sort of ironic justice that this lack of humanity will befall those who fought so hard to kill innocent souls for profit.

I wonder whether it would be useful to not only put the new one in writing, but have her read it alive for a couple of analog video camcorders along with, perhaps, a Super 8 camera. Although Super 8 is more than a little outdated and lacks sound (silent film is still readily available, but no undeveloped sound film exists that is in condition suitable for use) it is also likely to be harder to forge than most other media. Digital video can be forged with a desktop PC, but I don't know of any person or entity with the equipment necessary to forge a Super 8 camera reversal film. If someone had an unbroken strand of film that clearly showed Mae reading her will and holding up cue cards at appropriate times, and if the film precisely matched the action in a couple of videotapes that were shot from different angles, that would tend to suggest pretty strongly that the film and videos were all genuine.

Although Super 8 film isn't free, spending $75 for a camera and lights, $35 for film and processing to DVD (using the DVD as a viewing copy, but the film as the official copy) shouldn't break the bank.

Methinks there are some who will be quite surprised some day, tuckrdout.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7 KJV)

"According to their way I will do to them, and according to their own judgments I will judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD." (Ezekiel 7:27b RSV)

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12 KJV)

That was a very generous compliment. Thank you.

I like to "get to the bottom" of whatever is going on, and it's a pain in the ass to wade through the volume of crap between the illuminating and informative bits. I figure it's worth the attempt to improve the signal to noise by leading by example. Not that it's always the best example ;-)

To: judgemc; All
Greetings all.

I wasn't going to respond to this thread as it is difficult for me to be civil while commenting on this topic as I learned in the Terri case.

judgemc, surely you can see that this type of action leads to the rebirth of eugenics? If someone wants to be killed in certain circumstances, then they should have to be the parties that provide abundant proof that thier wish was death.

If the people who are in such a state have such ambiguous wishes, they should be left to live.

I hate to bring this up but my Grandmother has Senile Dementia and my step-mother has a rare disease that is like Parkinsons disease. Some of the people on the "death" side might have good intentions but the intellectual leaders of these folks do not. Altzheimers folks should die acoording to George Soros and his ilk.

I know what the wishes of all of my family members are and I will carry them out faithfully even if I don't agree with them.

I have to break with the eugenics crowd though regarding the rule of law.

I respect the law but if some judge says my grand mom or my step-mom is going to be put to death then they will have to kill me too.

This is a non negotiable point with me. My family controls it's own affairs, not some stinking judge. No offense to them but the constitution does say Right to LIFE. So, if it is an amibiguous situation, the right to life is implied by our Constitution. I follow the Constitution, not some tinpot dictator that doesn't know his own job.

So sorry, I can not support these new developments in Eugenics. It's barbaric. Gee, I can't wait until I become an elderly gent so some Judge can kill me because I am a waste of time and cause hardship to my living children. I thought we used to respect our elders?

So I will try to hold the line until some court appointed authority comes up to check my grandmas mental health and deems her unfit to live. Oh, and you can be sure I'll cooperate, LOL!!!

All she needs to do is find a decent lawyer (there are actually plenty of them out there), and have the Last Will properly witnessed. The challenge is making the contents "fair."

And in seriousness, if I was her, I wouldn't cut Gaddy out entirely. If Gaddy has been a loyal help for the past 10 years, the moral thing to do is recognize that. Assuming Mae wakes up, I expect she's going to be a darned uncomfortable spot of trying to figure out which of her relatives is spinning the truth.

I would think she should make sure that Gaddy is out at least until such time as Gaddy can be removed from any position where she might try to get Grandma killed. Make her want to keep Grandma alive at least long enough that Grandma might decide she deserved some inheretance after all...

Get ready for the influx of Freepers telling us:
A) this story is a hoax
B) It's ok because it's legal because a judge says so
C) the old woman doesn't need to live because she's old,
in poor health and SOMEBODY's gotta pay for it.

I guarantee at least 1 of those answers will pop up here by the "death Freeper crowd"
- Agreed! - the "death Freeper crowd" have guaranteed the next president will be a Democrat!

Combat Boots,

That is so sweet of you.

What makes it even sweeter, is that I'm IRISH. LOL.

So, right back at you, and to everyone here:

May the roads rise to meet you.
May the winds always be at your back.
May the good Lord keep you in the hollow of His hand.
And may you be in Heaven 15 minutes before the devil knows you're there!

Wasn't familiar with that last line when I did my wife's grave marker [here]; the follow-on I like comes from Numbers, I believe: "May the lord bless you and keep you, and make his countenance to shine upon you, and give you peace."

No, I missed that part of the thread, but I'm not surprised. I've noticed some of the same people who objected to letting Terri live because they claimed she didn't want to, are objecting to letting Mae live in spite of her clearly stated written directive specifying her wish to live. One of them stated (a couple days ago I believe) that he/she was resisting an urge to help. It must be depressing to be so dedicated to the right-to-kill.

Thank you.

I have to say that I have been quite fiery sometimes on FR but I don't let things get to me.

These cases have got to me though. When I read George Soros saying that people like my grandmom should be put to death I don't know what to do.

It saddens me that most folks don't understand long-term consequences over many political decisions and I am given some small measure of comfort that the majority of folks at FR understand this.

Thanks nicmarlo for the kind words.

Arioch7 out.
