That reminds me of something that happened many years ago. I had another pump go at the first house that I bought. I went to Sears to buy a new one. Guess what? The pump didn't work. Know why? There was no impeller in it.

The Sears story reminds of another Sears story I've heard. A neighbor of my sister was digging a basement under their house (it was on a hill) and found a buried kid's slide. He took it into Sears to see how old it was. The manager was shocked at the condition of it and wanted to replace it. That was Sears in the 50s. No more.
