We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Prince Ranier of Monoco is dead.
PM Blair asked the Queen to dissolve Parliament, which request was granted, setting the stage for general elections in Britain on May 5, 2005 (05/05/05).
If you're an American and you want to travel to Canada or Mexico after January 1, 2008, you'll need a passport under new rules called for in legislation passed by Congress (it was tucked into the Intelligence Bill).
Britain is complaining bitterly about new travel requirements set forth by the United States that will require travelers entering this country to have biometric passports or, in lieu of that, a visa from the United States granting entry. Only a small number of countries - England is not among them - will be ready by the October 26 deadline. In reality, however, they have little to complain about as the requirement has a grandfather clause: it only applies to passports granted after October 26, those issued before then will still be used according to current rules (no visa for Britain).
The Carter Center claimed President Bush passed over Jimmah in selecting the folks who would be part of the formal entourage to the Pope's funeral on Friday.
And, apparently, God is in tune with the Pope's passing; the sky's will darken across a large portion of the western hemisphere as a partial solar eclipse occurs on Friday, the day of the Pope's burial.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Well, my initial estimate of my Federal tax liability is done; I own a Federal clerk somewhere.
Hi!
I'm sorry the sale fell through. Hang in there. Someone will buy it soon.
Good morning everyone.
Interesting information on the timing of a partial solar eclipse on Friday.
Good morning.
Fox is reporting an Italian paper shows the seating chart for the Pope's funeral places President Bush next to President Kamani of Iran.
The pace car driver for the Indianapolis 500 was announced yesterday. It will be former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Ya' know, I am just mean enough that I'm hoping the services for the Pope and Prince Ranier will overshadow the nuptials in Britain.
LOL. With everything else going on in the world, the event has pretty much dropped off the news desk.
I heard about the seating chart too. Hmmmm.
Also hear on FoxNews that the security around the Pope is practically non-existant. No metal detectors, little screening going on. Heard something about an anti-aircraft gun that will be placed when all the heads of state arrive. sheesh
Bob Beckel was twisting himself into a pretzel trying to defend Sandy Berger. Beckel tried to change the focus by saying that Ollie North had his assistant put something in her boots from the national archives during the Iran Contra affair. I don't recall that at all, but then I wasn't always paying close attention to happenings in those days.
Still, it was a very cheap shot at one of Fox's news anchors. Typical RAT.
Good morning folks.
Bob Beckel is a constant source of irritation to me. I often wish someone would punch him in the nose.
Beckel's merely doing what all RATS do when in an uncomfortable situation: throw back a counter-accusation to distract the public from the real scandal. To have to resort to one that's almost a generation old shows how weak his position is.
Did you make it to K.C. yet?
It has occurred to me that a whole lot of fuss would be saved, if we could just take some people out to the woodshed and pound some sense into them.
Tornado near Brandon, MS. I know that's not you Toby. But HEADS-UP for those northeast of Brandon.
I'm gone for the day.
Dog, I miss you.
No tornados here in south LA, but it is DARK outside. I can here some peeps trying to hurry up and finish their yardwork before the deluge. And it's a'comin'....
Not yet. We are watching the weather, it may be better tomorrow. Luckily we have no tight schedule to meet this week.
