Both were collosal wastes of time. Noone will stop saying 'under God' due to a court order, and noone's faith is going to erode because a stone tablet isn't on public display. I found both people to be offensive.

I'm NE of you. It was too windy to do anything. However, this past weekend was gorgeous. I got my early vegetable garden in, cut the grass, trimmed the shrubs and pulled weeds.

I'm looking forward to getting the batteries in the boat and going fishing this coming weekend. The bass tourney guys have been out here catching my fish for the past two days.

You need to come up and visit. We have RV hook-ups and lots of room in the house. It will also give me a chance to cook too much.

I only minimally read the Terri Schiavo threads that everyone seems to refer so I can't speak to their content but I have been reading these opus threads and those comments jump right out at me.

Why should we? Before this issue, we've always been able to argue WITHOUT those kinds of names and out and out lies.

We've always been able to disagree and still be civil and come together on other threads. These are new kinds of vitriolic postings.

Unfortunately, we haven't had a thread in weeks that somebody didn't drag that Terri threads onto.

I went back in the thread, because of the reply removal I couldn't see what started it. I'm not sure it matters, I probably should have stayed on the sidelines but I hate it when someone plays the seniority card.
