They might just have awakened the sleeping giant

My theory about America's "Sleeping Giant" syndrome is that :

Liberals are always ranting and screeching and trying to rule our lives - while conservatives tend to their own lives - the live and let live personality - UNTIL things go too far, reach the danger level. Then we stand up and face the madding crowd, who is taken aback, having not suspected the reason we have been, heretofore, relatively quiet, thinking us acquiescent.

They are about to learn it ain't wise to kick a Sleeping Giant

"People have a sense, if not any particular sophistication in constitutional analysis, that there is something radically wrong with the Orwellian propaganda that "social change" ought to emanate from the courts rather than legislative bodies."

I would be verrrry careful on what aspects of 'social change' government at any level or branch should be involved in. Our individual rights and liberties have already suffered enough damage through the years by government-decreed social changes.

Can't understand why they just can't be content to just change their own diapers if they want to change something. Let somebody sue somebody for a perceived wrong if they want government to get involved in their lives.

Hey, Mr. Gummint Man! The imperative is 'Protect the borders, language and culture. Not alter them. Thank you very much.

Sleeping giant, indeed. He's wakening, and he's madder'n hell.
