I guess there's no French teams because surrender, retreat, and helping the other team doesn't make for watchable games...

I was dubious when the NFL started this league but it's been a big success. I love watching football in the spring!

Just in case anyone was still in doubt, if you watch NFL Europe, you are officially a football junkie.  And yes, I'll be watching.

If I just could find something to fill the drought between the Super Bowl and the start of the NFL Europe season, I'd could get off my meds entirely. ;)

Agreed!  And it also beats the hell out of that awful, ridiculous travesty that is "Arena Football".  What a joke.  It reminds me of when I was a kid and my brother and I played football in the living room.

If there's a football game, and I don't even know the players, that's some pretty bad football.

Philadelphia Soul, LOL! Just the first thing that pops to mind when I think Philadelphia!

Obviously you weren't a Patriots fan back in the 80s. Although you're right that they weren't too watchable.

I'll still watch that over the NBA.

Let us not forget that great business success that was the XFL.

Jeez, I used to watch the XFL. My fondest memories are of the kickoffs that would barely make to the 35 yard line. Lol.

The Pats weren't that bad in the 80's. They had that awful 2-14 record in 1981 but throughout most of that decade they were in the playoff chase every year until 1989. Then the franchise went down hill fast.

Nope, never been a Patriots fan, though recently I've become an admirer of their expertise and virtuosity.

All I remember was instead of a coin toss they had two players go after the ball like it was fumble to determine posession. Somehow I don't think we'll see the NFL adopt that rule.

A mix of football and hockey. Heh.

Somehow I don't think we'll see the NFL adopt that rule.

Heck, the NFL Shop won't even sell jerseys with "He Hate Me" on the back.

I think those jersey sales were the only thing the XFL made a profit on.
