State of Florida can take custody of the body to do an unbaised full autopsy independent of Pinellas Country officials where investigation of alledged physical abuse can be investigated.
This is something Jeb Bush can do.

According to something called the Empire Journal http://www.theempirejournal.com/0115056_sheriff_hired_michael_sc.htm Michael Schiavo was allegedly a friend of the recently retired Sheriff of Pinellas County, Everett Rice. Mr. Schiavo was also hired as a registered nurse by Sheriff Rice.
Sheriff Rice and Judge Greer are close friends, and Rice allegedly refused to investigate abuse charges against Schiavo. The mother of Schiano's current live-in bedmate had worked for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department for twenty years before leaving in 1999. There were numerous irregularities in Judge Greer's campaign for office. Rice and Felos, Schiavo's attorney are on the Board of Directors of the Hsopice where Terri Schiavo was starved and dehydrated to death at the order of Judge Greer.

A recent photo on the Internet showed a motorcycle escort for Terri's Body to - presumably - her place of autopsy, safely under the control of the minions of Judge Greer and pals of Mr. Schiavo - the Pinellas County Police Dpeartment and their co-worker the conorner for Pinellas County. Perhaps Judge Greer was afraid Terri would rise from the dead.
Does this sound suspicious??? Naaahhh. Everybody knows Judges and Sheriffs and their employees are always paragons of virtue.
I have full confidence in any autopsy performed by the officials of Pinellas County. Like I believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, the Mothman and Flying Saucers.
Thank God I don't live in Florida.

Well heck, if Jeb Bush appointed him then he's definately above trying to save the necks of his good friends and fellow Pinellas County officials Judge Greer and (former) Sheriff Everett Rice, who refused to investigate abuse charges leveled against Michael Schiavo when the Florida DCF filed those charges before one Judge Greer. (Sheriff Rice also hired Michael Schiavo to work in his prison dispensory, and he sat on the board of Dirctors at the Florida Suncoast Hospice with GEORGE FELOS). The Suncoast Hospice operates the hospice where Terri was starved to death.
Since County Coroner Thogmartin is friends with all of these men involved in the Michael Schiavo-Terri Schiavo case, I can see why you'd think he might be the right man for the autopsy job, cough, choke, sputter.
