In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

I agree.
search for it........it's a Terri thread of sorts.
Temperamental maybe?
the selfstyled bastion of sanity of FR, posted in the smoky backroom because, of course, it mostly consists of posters ragging on everyone else for their reactions to the schiavo case. much sanctimony and references to the unhinged emotional holy roller lunatic right wing fringe of FR, who consists of everyone that is not them, basically. a small (in both number and character) but vocal group.
World's Planned Parenthood's Favorite Freepers
Actually that's purely coincidental, or is it? Check the smokey back room to find the turkeys....
sad, yes, for us. If it is his time to go, at least it will because GOD called him home, and not because man sent him there.
yeah - just took Tioga's advice and searched it out. That's one weak thread.
lots of focusing on the minutiae and missing the big picture entirely. by their own words they are convicted. there have been amazing statements made back there. would curl your hair... ; )
Curl my hair. I'd look like Gene Wilder. Yech.
as disturbing as that thread is, i can't resist reading, kind of like picking a scab. i wish i could pour a barrel of peroxide on the entire pustulent oozing mass.....
I lucky that it was one train wreck I was able to stop watching
there are relatively few of them for all of their loud fulminating. i would wager that the majority of freepers are like those of us on our thread, quietly sickened and horrified by the callous disregard for life. the bushbashing fringers are what they have always been, and they will and have gone off over this. but that lot back in that room... now that was an eyeopener....
the past two weeks have been life altering for this forum. i don't know that it can be exactly as it was before. realignments have taken place.
sometimes having things shaken (shook?) out is not a bad thing - painful as it be
i agree. in fact i wonder if that wasn't God's purpose in the whole terri situation to begin with, to make people take a stand.
Yep.
I'm really glad I wasn't home in time to see those threads y'all were talking about-it sounds bad enough from what you're saying about it. I heard about Terri on the radio at my jobsite-all I could think was may God give her soul rest and punish those guilty of her death.
I know a lot of freepers better today.
Got to head home.
Later
From assisted suicide to assisted murder, the Schiavo case will remain forever seminal.
