Describing the period he was recuperating from his divorce, "it consisted mostly of dreams of being tormented in some inferno." (pg 27)

About the Estelle Browning case, "I still got a kick that evening seeing myself on the TV news, notwithstanding my frequently displayed countenance in the media of late."

From the excerpts you posted, it sounds as if Felos is describing himself as a Malignant Narcissist, which is a serious Personality Disorder. No wonder he feels the need to speak to the microphones so often, and feels so little empathy. He is a textbook case, especially if, as he suspects, he was abused as a young child.
Did you know that Felos' son, Alxander, was a classmate of the kid that committed suicide by airplane into a building a couple of years back.
It would seem that "end of life scenarios" surround the Felos family.
